Job Title: Fraud Admin Support Officer

Salary: £18584 (per year)
Basis: Worker Scheme 12 months fixed term contract - 36hrs per week
About the Role

The key focus of the role will be providing high Admin Support to the fraud team with focus being National Fraud Initiative (NFI) support and using specialised software to through an analytical tool to assist fraud investigations.
You will be joining a busy and successful Fraud and Financial Investigations Team where you will be working alongside Fraud Investigators, Intelligence Officers, and external organisations.
We are looking for someone who has an analytical approach to their work. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate how they already have a skill set which is transferable to meet the essential skills required for this role.
About the Person
The successful candidate should have:
- Have 5 GCSE Grade C or above which must include Maths and English
- Display all the Council’s behaviours for Great People – Positive, Flexible, Innovative, Supportive
- Excellent ICT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel.
You must display the ability to think outside the box and be able to use your own initiative and challenge information, rather than accept at face value. You will have a flexible attitude towards working practices and the ability to adapt style as required, be confident in your own abilities and approach, and be a team player. Excellent communication skills are essential. Full training will be provided.
