Woking Borough Council Property Services Team are looking for an enthusiastic candidate within an interest in Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS) and Flood Risk Management.

Duties will include investigating flooding and surface water issues, ditch management, applications for water consent licences and addressing drainage / flooding enquires from members of the public.

About us

We are an organisation of over 300 employees, 30 Councillors and countless volunteers, working hard to deliver services cost effectively, for the residents of Woking.

The Property Services Team employee over 30 staff and with the support of our contractors are responsible for facilities management, property and estates management, highways and surface water and flood management with a key focus on customer services and income generation.

About you

 We are looking for a highly motivated person willing to become a valuable member of the team and seeking to progress their professional development through both workplace training and potentially day realise for either an HNC/HND or degree qualifications.
