As our Community Development Manager you will have a central role in managing the wide Council’s range of services in this area, which includes, development and implementation of policies and strategies relating to our local thriving voluntary sector, physical activities, and our own Lottery. This is combined with being experienced in managing and developing both internal grant schemes, and external funding strategies when required, together with wellbeing initiatives and support functions. 
You will have the opportunity to build on strong established and positive community relationships to ensure the Council continue to work collaboratively to support our community.
You are someone who is passionate about community development, matched with an excellent track record of delivery.  You will have the ability to quickly turn ideas into action and gain the support and buy-in of those around you.
