This role has a starting salary of £36,282 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.

Surrey MASH for Adults is our referral point for adult safeguarding concerns and our MASH team leads our initial response to those concerns.  We also undertake some enquiry work and hope to increase our role in this.  We work closely with Police, Health and Children’s services colleagues and are continually striving to increase and strengthen networks which benefit adults at risk in Surrey.

Come and join our amazing, friendly and dynamic team based in Woking but working in an agile way.  Be part of a team committed to delivering our vision to support the Local Authority to provide a safeguarding response in partnership with other relevant agencies and adults at risk.

We are looking for a Social Worker who is able to demonstrate an understanding and commitment to adult safeguarding work.  You will need to be motivated and flexible with high professional standards and sound knowledge and experience of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Care Act 2014, in particular making decisions under Section 42 and making recommendations for action.
