Asset Manager

£50,356 to £59,721 per annum (more payable for an exceptional candidate) plus Essential Car User Allowance

Full Time (36 hours)

Staines-upon-Thames

This post is a hybrid post supporting both office and home working in line with Spelthorne Borough Council’s policy. The post holder will be required to attend the office in line with a rota and any service requirements.

Over the past five years Spelthorne has invested in the acquisition of £1billion of grade A commercial property: an innovative approach to create an income stream and in turn to support the ongoing provision and delivery of services borough wide. It also holds a property portfolio for the purposes of ongoing regeneration and development in the borough, as well as a raft of municipal property.

As part of our in-house team of first-rate property professionals your principal areas of involvement will incorporate our vibrant shopping centre, which remains virtually fully let, as well as some of our grade A office assets in the M4 Corridor.  You may also become involved with our municipal assets.   With retail experience essential and commercial/office experience desirable, you’re a team player with an agile approach, focused on optimising income, customer care and tenant retention.

What we are looking for from you

  • Commercial acumen and private sector experience
  • Proven track record in delivery of property and asset management
  • Drive, enthusiasm and ability to work at pace
  • Relevant professional qualifications

In return we offer excellent conditions of service with a benefits package that includes flexible working hours, pension scheme, free car parking, at least 23 days’ paid leave per year, essential user car allowance, and a supportive working environment within a broad-based team of property professionals.

This is a politically restricted post as further detailed in the Information Pack.
