The starting salary for this position is £26,080 per annum based on a 36-hour working week.

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Opportunity.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Land & Property as a Customer Liaison Officer. The role will be based in our Woodhatch Office, Reigate.

Surrey's Property Service have responsibility for developing, building, running, and maintaining an extensive and diverse portfolio of investment, operational and non-operational property including office buildings, fire stations, land and schools - making sure our assets are working hard for us and providing fit-for-purpose premises for staff and customers.

In this role, you will support the delivery of a comprehensive Facilities service and act as a point of contact for staff and visitors in Surrey County Council's main corporate buildings.  You will be joining a team of hard working professionals focused on maintaining excellent levels of customer care and an organisation which you will be proud to work for.

This role is incredibly varied! A day with us will include:

  • Front of House duties
  • Health and Safety monitoring and compliance
  • Security
  • Room bookings
  • Building Support Officer functions such as helping in the post room or taking in deliveries

You, along with the rest of the Facilities Team, will ensure that building services and equipment remain operational and provide a safe working environment for our staff and visitors.

To be shortlisted to interview for this position your application will clearly evidence that you:

  • Enjoy being a team player and working with others, using your initiative when required!
  • Have experience of working within a busy facilities team
  • Are passionate about providing excellent levels of customer service and have great people skills
  • Have previous experience of Reception/Front of House duties
  • Hold a Driving Licence and are willing to travel in order to cover other hub sites
