Community Transport Driver

Salary range £18,696 to £21,347 (Full Time)

2 x Full time Post (37 hours Monday to Friday) Based at Camberley

Runnymede and Surrey Heath Borough Councils are working in partnership to deliver Community Transport services and are looking for Community Transport Drivers to join our ambitious service and provide accessible transport to residents across Runnymede and Surrey Heath boroughs, as well as travelling into other neighbouring areas as required.

You will be required to provide door to door transport to various groups of people, including older people, people with physical disabilities and children with special educational needs using fully accessible minibuses. Suitable candidates will need to have both practical skills and be sensitive to the needs and requirements of individuals using the service. Experience of working with different client groups would be desirable. You will need to have a D1 category on your driving licence.

As you will be working with members of the public daily, the ability to work with a positive approach, be flexible to meet the needs of each individual and work with a welcoming approach and a sense of humour is essential.

If you are a committed, self-motivated person who wants to make a difference to the lives of individuals in the communities we serve we are keen to hear from you.

Full training will be provided.
