The starting salary for this role is £29,291 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to provide proactive personal administrative and business support to the four Heads of Commissioning within Adult Social Care. This will include complex diary management, scheduling of meetings, note taking and the management of papers and correspondence; ensuring that the Senior Managers are briefed and prepared with the relevant paperwork for all meetings, always maintaining confidentiality.
Tact, confidentiality, discretion, and the ability to perform to the highest professional standards are critical. In this role, you will develop effective networks and working relationships internally with Members and Officers and externally with Surrey Members of Parliament, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Districts and Boroughs and other public, private, voluntary and independent agencies and representative organisations as required to provide effective support to the management team.
The role will provide comprehensive business and administrative support on a day-to-day basis to ensure the efficient and effective use of management time. This will include:
- Complex diary management
- Screening incoming calls
- Preparing and responding to emails/correspondence
- Coordinating meetings and other events
- Preparing meeting papers and agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring actions and recommendations arising from meetings and other activities are followed up
We are looking for someone who:
- Is highly organised
- Has a proactive approach
- Has experience of working as a personal assistant to a senior manager
- Experienced minute taker
- Possesses good verbal and written communication skills
- Has the ability to work independently on your own initiative and as part of a busy team
