Finance Lead - Programme Management Office
The starting salary for this position is £41,127 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.
This role is open to remote working meaning you aren't required in the office 5 days a week. We’re less about you driving to work and more about us collectively driving down our carbon footprint. We care about how you work rather than where you work; the people rather than the postcode. In support of our people and our greener futures strategies, we’d welcome a conversation with the successful candidate on what remote working may look like for you.
About Us
Surrey County Council is embarking on an exciting and transformative journey to become a leading-edge authority, putting Surrey's People and Places at the heart of everything we do.
We have great ambitions and by 2030 we want Surrey to be a uniquely special place where everyone has a great start to life, people live healthy and fulfilling lives, are enabled to achieve their full potential and contribute to their community and no one is left behind. To help achieve this, the authority is making a capital investment in excess of £1.5bn over the next 5 years.
To enable us to meet this vision, the Environment, Transport and Infrastructure (ETI) Directorate created a Programme Management Office in April 2021.
The PMO will support the delivery of all the programmes and projects across the wider directorate including multi-million-pound highways, environmental and waste schemes. You will be assisting those responsible for ensuring that they are delivered in line with the council’s future visions, objectives and budgets.
