The starting salary for this role is £36,282 per annum, working 36 hours per week.

This role is open to agile working meaning you aren't required in the same office five days a week. We're less about you driving to work and more about us collectively driving down our carbon footprint. We care about how you work rather than where you work; the people rather than the postcode. In support of our people and our greener futures strategies, we'd welcome a conversation with the successful candidate on what agile working may look like for you.

Surrey County Council is seeking to recruit a Business and Contract Support Manager to manage the specialist contract support to commissioners as well as the broad range of business support that is vital to the smooth operation of the Public Health team.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing teams providing high quality business and contract related processes and be confident in dealing with a range of internal and external colleagues. Flexibility and willingness to engage in a range of tasks and challenges will be important along with the ability to support senior members of the team in managing and meeting deadlines.

The Public Health Team in Surrey is forward-looking, with ambitions to improve the health and wellbeing of our county's population whilst contributing to reductions in health inequality. Public Health sits within Public Services Reform which is a joint directorate between Surrey County Council and Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care System. It therefore has links across the council and with a wide range of external partners and providers both within Surrey and regionally.

If you are enthusiastic, have experience of managing, leading and developing business and contract support functions and have a basic understanding of public health within local authorities, then we want to hear from you.
