Unit4 ERP Master Data Operations Officer
The starting salary for these positions is £32,173 per annum based on a 36 hour working week. The roles are offered on a 6 month fixed-term or secondment basis.
The position is on an agile workstyle which will see a blend of home and office working. The role's base location is Surrey County Council's offices at Dakota House, Weybridge and applicants may be required to attend other council offices periodically.
Surrey County Council are implementing Unit 4 as a modern, intuitive and flexible Software-as-a-Service Enterprise Resource Planning system. A significant programme of work is nearing completion to deliver the full implementation, including the configuration of the system, data migration and implementing required integrations with other Council systems.
Unit 4 will be supported in-house at Surrey County Council. The Integrations Data team will be responsible for maintaining master data for control and efficiency of business processes including daily payments to the Council's many suppliers.
Following go-live, there is expected to be a higher volume of data incidents resulting from the new system integrations and processes. During this time, additional resource is required to investigate and resolve the incidents as they arise. In addition, the team will partner with Services to embed best practice and continuous improvement, so the volume of incidents reduces over time.
This new team will play an important role in facilitating prompt payment to vital services including providers of Children's Social Care and protecting the Council's reputational and financial risk.
The team will be managed by the Integrations Data Manager and supported by 4 Integrations Data Officers. This is a new team and we're recruiting to all roles, for an initial 6-month fixed term contract, with the possibility of converting to a permanent position when longer term demand is understood.
Surrey County Council welcome applications from people with experience in:
- Maintaining master data tables for Enterprise Resource Planning systems
- Unit 4 Finance, HR and Procurement, Proactis, CONTROCC and Dell Boomi
- Incident and Problem Management including liaison with Services, Helpdesk and Technical support
- Investigation, escalation and root cause resolution
- Continuous improvement for end-to-end process efficiency
