The starting salary for this role is £32,173 per annum, working 36 hours per week.

Are you a team player and have the experience and passion to provide a Project Support Officer role and provide support to the portfolio areas of Assistant Director of Community Safety, and his Head of Service?  

If you are ready for your next challenge and want to join us on this exciting journey, we are looking for a Project Support Officer to join our team. In this role you will specifically engage with work around domestic abuse, violence against women and girls (VAWG) and Prevent. All the portfolios have inter-dependencies that require a co-ordinated business approach and the ability to work with colleagues in statutory organisations and the 3rd sector.

We have created this new post to work across these thematic areas. The wider team brings together aspects of Community Safety, VAWG, Domestic Abuse, Family Resilience and Adolescents - including Prevent to ensure that we have effective partnership plans and approach. Work streams are in place to deliver what our communities need and require around these agendas. The post-holder will work with the Assistant Director and the Head of Service to continue to drive forward the portfolios through the provision of dedicated business support.
