Therapy Manager
The starting salary for this role is £53,918 per annum and is based on a 36 working hour week.
Our vision in Adult Social Care is working with all our partners to make a difference to the lives of people, through trusted, personalised and universal social care support, so people have choice and control, and can maximise their wellbeing and independence in their local community.
Surrey County Council’s in-house Reablement Service plays an important role in achieving this vision.
As the Reablement Therapy Manager you will work alongside the Head of Integrated Reablement Services and Service Delivery Management Team to develop Strengths based and Therapy Led model of Reablement across the organisation.
The role will involve close working at an operational manager level with our partners across Health and Social Care, developing new ways of working and promoting the Integration Agenda.
In addition to this you will be supporting our existing staff across the Reablement service to develop their knowledge and skills. You are able to find out more about our Reablement Service by visiting Careers in reablement - Surrey County Council (surreycc.gov.uk)
As an experienced therapist you will be able to work autonomously to deliver our service and highlight any improvements needed. You will have operational experience of managing diverse staff teams, as well as sound professional expertise in the area of Intermediate Care provision. Ideally, we are looking for someone with a proven track record in intermediate care service improvement.
This role will provide county wide support to the service so an ability and willingness to work in an agile way, and travel across the county will be essential.
At Surrey, our values and behaviours are just as important as our skills and abilities. They shape who we are as an organisation. Find out more about the values we follow.
