The starting salary for this role is £23,243 per annum for working 36 hours week. You will be based at Consort House, Redhill RH1 1YB, moving to Reigate in 2023.

Our Education business support teams provide support to front line workers and, whilst you won’t be required in the office 5 days a week, there is the expectation you will work in the office on a rota basis at least two days a week. Core working hours are 09:00-17:00 to ensure full cover is provided to operational teams and front-line call lines. 

We are looking for a full time Team Administrator to work in this varied and interesting role within the Children, Families & Learning Business Support Team.

Children, Families and Learning provides a range of highly specialist services to vulnerable children and young people. Services are delivered directly to children and their families within extensive statutory frameworks and staff working in these areas need specialist knowledge in order to deliver effective services to these high risk and high need groups. Our admin teams support front line Education staff.

In this role you will organise training courses on behalf of the education teams; liaise with professionals both within Education and with other agencies; keep track of information; update and maintain spreadsheets and databases; take meeting notes and subsequently distribute to involved parties, ensuring timescales are met; and provide performance information.

You will be highly organised and willing to take responsibility. Comfortable in setting your own priorities and meeting deadlines, you also will be skilled at using your initiative. You will make sure that everything is in place to guarantee that all runs smoothly for the processes and teams you support.

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential along with a high level of written and verbal communication skills. You will have experience of working with highly confidential information in a customer focused environment and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a solid background in administration
  • Has experience of working in a busy office environment
  • Has excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Is confident, organised and able to implement a proactive approach to their work
  • Has excellent IT skills and is proficient in using Microsoft Office
