Housing Maintenance

Salary: £25,242 - £28,176 per annum

Permanent, full-time post

We are looking for an enthusiastic, competent, organised, and proactive support officer to work within Technical Services in our Housing Maintenance Team.

Our service area is responsible for the maintenance, planned improvement and major refurbishment of over 5000 social housing properties, mechanical and electrical services to corporate property and facilities management.  

Reporting to the Housing Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the Housing Responsive Repairs and Cyclical works Programmes, in addition to providing an effective support function to the team.

Duties will include the compilation of technical information to assist in legal cases and data management associated to the delivery of the statutory requirements of the team.  The suitable candidate will be used to working under pressure to meet these mandatory targets in the production of information relating to property purchases, under the Right to Buy process and resales, Key performance reporting and disrepair pre-action protocol.  You will also look to support the team by ordering works and updating processes associated to its contracts through various electronic formats.

Applicants should have strong attention to detail with a proven track record in developing effective working relationships and communication across a range of stakeholders, along with the ability to work on their own initiative with good numeracy, MS word and Excel skills.
