Salary: £21,327 - £24,123 per annum
Basis: Permanent, full time.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity to join the dedicated and friendly Harlequin team, working in the café kitchen. The role involves delivering the menu of freshly made sandwiches, hot food, cakes and snacks, whilst maintaining the highest standards within the kitchen.
The role is for 36 hours a week, five days out of seven. Although the role can require weekend working, there will be regular opportunity to have the weekend off and you will be working mainly during the day with the occasional need to work in the evening.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming team in a vibrant arts venue, delivering a great range of hot and cold food while maintaining a good work-life balance.
About the Person
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced cook with a background of working professionally or in a commercial kitchen.
- Has experience of implementing and maintaining high food hygiene and safety standards in a busy kitchen.
- Is experienced in stock ordering and rotation.
- Is motivated, capable and hardworking.
- Can work well on their own and as a supportive member of a team.
- Has a food hygiene qualification to level 3 or higher.
- Is willing to undertake other training as required for the role.
