The starting salary for this role is £36,282 per annum for working 36 hours per week.

As Assessment Consultation Therapy (ACT) Safeguarding Lead, you will be part of a specialist therapeutic service within Surrey County Council, working with young people and adolescents who present and display with sexually harmful behaviour. You will be working in a therapeutic setting, supporting the team in overseeing the referral pathway into A-CT.

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker who has extensive knowledge and experience of child protection and a good understanding of the risk factors associated with sexually harmful behaviour. You should have sound knowledge of assessing and managing referrals, planning and co-ordinating enquires or proven experience of leading on consultations. You will be required to write reports and to take an active role in attending Strategy and Multi-Agency meetings and attend Case Conferences and Child in Need meetings to support the team.

Part of this role will be to provide training and consultancy to the wider network in order to support them in managing presenting behaviours and reducing risk. You will also produce quarterly and annual reports.

Please note that the ability to travel around the county will be essential in meeting the demands of this role.
