Housing Manager
Woking Borough Council’s Resident Services came back in house after 10 years of being outsourced to an external housing management and maintenance company. The delivery of these services is now managed directly by Woking Borough Council.
We are seeking a motivated, flexible and pro-active person to join our existing Housing Team. The role will involve managing a varied case load which is patch based, with varied stock types, such as temporary accommodation, sheltered schemes and general needs stock. The role will incorporate all aspects of tenancy management including anti-social behavior and estate inspections, assisting our Income Officers with arrears and working closely with our Repairs team.
Ideally the candidate will have experience in working within the social housing sector, however we will also consider candidates with the relevant transferable skills.
The successful candidate should also be willing to undertake any relevant Housing Qualifications.
