The starting salary for this position is £62,363 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.

We are looking for a dynamic Physical and Sensory Support Service Manager with experience in education and delivery services for children and young people with additional needs. You will lead the delivery of frontline, whole county services for learners with physical and sensory support needs, supporting strong progress, achievement and preparation for adult life. You will lead the development of whole county PSS Services, providing strategic leadership for the design, delivery and evaluation of educational provision for children with PSS needs across the County.
You will have up to date knowledge and experience of the education landscape and legislative frameworks for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and additional needs and knowledge of schools and educational settings. You will have a track record of managing and leading change as well as experience at a senior level of managing people and monitoring complex budgets in a large organisation. Working in partnership with colleagues in schools, social care, health and parents is an essential element of this role as we move forward on our transformation journey for children with SEND and additional needs in Surrey.
