The Surrey Family Support Programme – North East Surrey Team
The North East Surrey Family Support Team (NESFST) works in partnership with families in the boroughs of Elmbridge, Epsom and Ewell and Spelthorne.  This is an innovative multi-agency project that supports the successful co-ordination of local statutory and voluntary services to work in partnership with families with complex and multiple needs.

The team support families with issues such as unemployment, anti-social and offending behaviour, school attendance, domestic abuse and substance misuse and other concerns. These families are helped to achieve better outcomes through a single multi-agency assessment, a Family Support Plan and co-ordinated partnership working. The service supports families through intensive in-home support.

The role involves building trusted and responsive relationships with individuals and families, working in partnership with a number of agencies.

We are seeking a team player experienced in the delivery of family support and with a good understanding of safeguarding, case work management and risk assessment.

You will be committed to whole family assessments and single plans promoting a Team Around the Family approach. 

You will have experience of outcomes focused work with children and families, developing capacity and resilience.

This post is identified as a hybrid post supporting both office and home working in line with Spelthorne Borough Council’s policy. The post holder will be required to attend the office in line with a rota and any service requirements.

This post will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
