Community Meals Driver 20hours per week

 

As part of Community Services, this post supports Community Meals in the delivery of hot meals to eligible residents of Guildford Borough. Working to a schedule in a purpose adapted vehicle, you will be responsible the delivery of hot lunchtime meals.

This service assists customers to remain independent in their homes for longer and promote health and wellbeing.

You will be required to work 20 hours per week, 10:00am - 2:00pm, including some Saturdays and Sundays on a rota basis.

Job Profile

You will have a full, valid UK driving licence, and we will conduct an enhanced DBS check if a position is offered

This is a physical role that requires good level of fitness, good communication skills, a flexible style of working, with good driving skills and an awareness of the physical problems and other difficulties that our service users may have.
