Housing Solutions Officer

Reporting directly to the Housing Solutions Manager, this an exciting opportunity to join Runnymede Borough Council as we continue our positive work preventing homelessness and ending rough sleeping in the area. We are looking for two capable and ambitious individuals to join our team. In which the successful candidates will be involved in providing full housing solutions advice and links to appropriate help and support to deliver a high-quality homelessness service as well as conducting initial assessments for all applications.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the implementation and performance of the Councils Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy and assist in the review of procedures and policies within the team.

We are looking for a capable and ambitious individual to join our team who can provide excellent customer service. We are looking for exceptional candidates with a range of skills including knowledge of the Housing Act 1996 (as amended) and be a team player who is articulate, organised and able to work well under pressure delivering first class housing solutions services.
