Cook (Staines)

£15,536 – £16,460 p,a (25 hours per week)

Spelthorne Borough Council is seeking to appoint a Cook to work five days per week, Monday-Friday. The role will be based at The Staines Community Centre in Staines, but you may also be required to cover at our other centres. 

You will be responsible for the Centre’s catering provision ensuring the highest possible standard of food production and presentation, plan menus to provide variety, and maintain nutritious standards suited to the clients of the centre.

This is a role that requires the ability to think on your feet, communicate well with others and be adaptable to ever changing priorities. Your role will include working with older people who are often very vulnerable so will need a caring disposition and must be able to remain calm in all circumstances.
