An opportunity has arisen within the Development Management team for the appointment of a Graduate Planning Officer or Planning Officer within our busy section.
The post would suit either a someone looking for a career opportunity, a recent graduate or looking to take the next step in their career. The post holder will be responsible for a high caseload of planning applications with an opportunity to gain a significant amount of experience in a short amount of time.
This is an exciting time for Guildford, as we have an adopted local plan with several strategic sites coming forward.
The role also offers the opportunity to assist senior officers with these major applications and planning appeals and play a key role in the development of the Borough.
