Runnymede Borough Council is a stock retained local authority, responsible for the management of the Council’s housing stock. We pride ourselves on being an excellent performing landlord, with top quartile performance for current and former tenant arrears. 

We are looking for someone to deliver effective advice and tenancy support to residents impacted by the changes of Welfare Regulations and Universal Credit. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive money and benefit advice to our tenants and manage a busy caseload so good time management and organisational skills are crucial.  

You will need to have experience of working in social housing with expertise Benefit welfare benefit entitlements such as Universal Credit, and an ability to assist residents in maximising their income.  Strong communication skills are essential. The customer will be at the heart of your work to provide effective tenancy sustainment  that is tailored to the individual needs of tenants.  A financial advice qualification is preferred but is not essential.
