The starting salary for this role is £31,273 per annum, working 36 hours per week.
The People and Change Service at Surrey County Council is in the midst of implementing its Workforce of the Future Strategy and its vision of being "at the forefront of innovation and best practice in people management to ensure that we maximise the value of our workforce in a rapidly changing world".
Part of that service is the Governance & Contracts team whose mission is to increase organisational effectiveness through our people, using the design and development of targeted initiatives in response to strategic priorities, objectives and issues.
We have a Governance & HR Contracts Advisor vacancy on an 18-month fixed term contract that requires the right person to collaborate and work seamlessly with our stakeholders.
To be shortlisted to interview for this position your application will clearly evidence:
- Knowledge on commissioning via e-sourcing portals.
- Comfortable working with stakeholders on routes to market.
- Having difficult discussions with both suppliers and stakeholders
- An ability to process the complicated and make it simple
- That you are top class communicator and collaborator, who can work across multiple organisations and can quickly build a strong network and use it to get things done.
