The starting salary for this role is £27,991 per annum, working 36 hours per week.

The People and Change Service at Surrey County Council is in the midst of implementing its Workforce of the Future Strategy and its vision of being "at the forefront of innovation and best practice in people management to ensure that we maximise the value of our workforce in a rapidly changing world".
Part of that service is the Governance & HR Contracts team. We have a Governance and HR Contracts Assistant role available on a 12 month fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity - covering Maternity Leave.
To be shortlisted to interview for this position your application will clearly evidence:
- Knowledge in any aspect of Governance.
- Comfortable presenting, report writing and liaising with senior leaders
- An ability to process the complicated and make it simple
- Experience in GDPR monitoring and assessing
