HR Assistant
The HR team at Woking Borough Council is a hardworking and committed one and we are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and capable HR Assistant to join the team.
Our HR Assistant will be providing administrative support to the team so day to day activities will include recruitment administration, undertaking pre-employment checks, payroll administration, assisting with contractual changes and and helping provide our customers with a great service. The team is busy, so expect to make an impact from day one.
To apply for this role, it is essential that you have experience of undertaking HR administration. You will need to be highly organised, customer focused, have a flexible approach to work and have an ability to meet sometimes challenging deadlines – the ability to multi-task is a must. You will be able to demonstrate first-class communication skills, excellent attention to detail, be highly competent with IT systems and have the ability to use them to streamline and improve our processes.

This in a key role within the team and needs to be 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
