Care Officer
Care Officer Post - 37 hours per week
Are you kind and compassionate, do you want to make a difference to the lives of some of our residents? If so, we are looking for a someone to join our team in Community Services as a Care Officer in our recently refurbished Community Centre – The Hive. Your responsibilities will include planning & facilitating a variety of activities across each day and attending to the personal and social needs of our service users, with a view to creating a supportive atmosphere in which they can achieve their maximum independence and choice.
The post is a full-time position, 37 hours per week, Mondays to Thursdays 8:30am - 4:30pm and Fridays 8:30am - 4:00pm.
A full, clean driving licence is required and a good level of personal fitness, as this is an active role. An enhanced DBS check will be required upon appointment - an understanding and awareness of the physical problems our users may have is desirable.
