We are looking for an experienced Revenues Officer to join our Revenues team.
The role will require the successful applicant to deal with all aspects of Council Tax billing and recovery, including maintaining computer records, dealing with routine correspondence and providing advice and explanations to customers at the enquiry desk or on the telephone. Knowledge of business rates would be an advantage.
You will need to be a good communicator, possess excellent organisational skills, be able to remain calm when working under pressure or to tight deadlines, have a flexible approach in order to keep up with changing priorities within the department and be committed to providing a high level of customer care.
Ideally you will have experience of using revenues software, preferably Academy systems, as well as experience of using a document management system. You must also possess a high level of MS Office skills especially with Excel spreadsheets.
