The starting salary for this role is £61,463 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.
As the Service Manager for the Surrey Children’s Service Workforce Academy and as the Principal Child & Family Social Worker, you will be part of the management team in the Quality Assurance and Performance Division.
This role is a unique opportunity that will see you lead on improving our strategic planning with the continued development and delivery of Surrey Children's Workforce Academy. The Academy aims to use best practice and knowledge to inform the work we do, to establish a shared language, model and culture that supports Surrey’s children and their families. Your professional leadership will be critical in ensuring that collectively we promote and work to the highest standards of professional, management and leadership practice across our children's workforce.
You will have the proven ability to build and maintain strong and purposeful working relationships with partners (internal and external), working co-productively to ensure that everyone working with children and their families has the opportunity to develop their skills, learning and career so that we build and retain a workforce with the skills we need. Your specialist skills and knowledge will see you act as an advisor to senior management on local and national social work practice. You will lead the way as the professional champion for high quality and innovative practice in Surrey.
You must hold a relevant social work degree and be CIPD qualified to be considered for this role.
