This brand-new position offers a talented individual the opportunity to work closely with the CEO and is centred around levering in resources for major projects. There will be a particular emphasis on climate change and economic development initiatives.

We are seeking candidates with outstanding analytical and research skills with the vision to identify opportunities and sources of funding for projects relevant to the Council and its partners. You must be highly confident and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

It is essential that you have proven experience in a corporate or public sector environment, applying for grants and writing bids or have experience in a role which provides an excellent background for this key position. Knowledge of how to access national/regional grants would be an advantage as would experience of using grants software.
