The starting salary for this role is £27,991 per annum for 36 hour working week.

We currently have one permanent Provider Database Officer vacancy.  This is a full-time role 36 hours per week.  Please note that there may be an occasional requirement to work some weekends on a rota basis, but this should form part of your 36 hours per week.

Although you will be based at Quadrant Court, Guildford Road, Woking, Surrey GU22 7QQ, there is flexibility to work flexibly/agilely across Surrey.

About the Team

This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed Joint Brokerage Team which is part of the Adult Social Care Commissioning function.

The Administration and Systems Team will be managing the systems we use to receive referrals, and availability from the market and manage the information that is sent and received from the provider market.

The team will manage the back-office functions to allow effective and efficient sourcing of services. This will include the issuing of contracts and management of the communications with the provider market. 

About the Role

The position will be required to manage the communications for providers with regards to prices and costs. You will be managing a database of discussions, negotiations and agreements with providers about fees and costs.

You will be required to offer support the of the review any financial submissions from providers and create reference documentation to allow Commissioners and Contract Managers to make informed recommendations.

The post holder may be required to create summary outputs from the systems and report on the levels of activity.

You will be highly organised, have a good eye for detail with an interest in finance. You will need to take responsibility, use initiative and be comfortable in managing your own priorities within the set procedures and processes.

Excellent interpersonal and IT skills are essential. Having a good working knowledge of Excel would be crucial for the post holder. You will have a good understanding of working with highly confidential information in a customer focused environment and can work under pressure to tight deadlines.

The County is committed to remote working meaning you aren't required in the office 5 days a week. There will be service delivery needs that will require attending offices and visiting providers.
