The starting salary for this role is £27,991 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.

The Business Systems Team is a part of the Adult Social Care directorate and provides support and development to the core information systems used in the service. These core systems include:

  • LAS and Self-Service portals provided by Liquid Logic
  • ContrOCC, Provider Portal and Financial Protection Module provided by Oxford Computer Consultants
  • Wisdom provided by Daisy

This is a busy and fast paced role where you will need to use your technical and analytical skills to help plan, build, test and maintain systems so that they are fit for purpose for our operational staff. This could involve working with service representatives to design and build forms and outputs, testing new business processes and taking part in all aspects of systems upgrades. You will also be available to help with staff queries when required and be able to investigate systems to resolve complex issues.

You will be required to work across the Adult Social Care service and liaise with multiple teams to ensure that systems are fit for purpose and User Acceptance Tests are carried out to time and quality requirements.

You will have experience of working in a technical role and be adept at resolving problems quickly with excellent attention to detail. Experience of user acceptance testing, and/or systems development is essential. Testing and systems development require a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy in documenting changes. You will therefore need to be organised and methodical in your approach to information gathering, analysis, recording and reporting and have the ability to analyse and manipulate data whilst maintaining attention to detail. Experience of using 0365 including Word and Excel to a high standard is essential.

In this role you will learn about the legislation and business processes that Adult Social Care use, you should therefore have an interest in Adult Social Care and a desire to learn more about the sector to apply for the role.

This role is based in Reigate, however during the current Covid-19 situation the team is working virtually from home, with regular team meetings. This means that you will need to be able to engage with a wide variety of people over Microsoft Teams, and be comfortable learning new skills virtually.
