Based in Surrey, Runnymede Borough Council is establishing a new permanent Strategic Asset Management Team to manage its extensive Property Portfolio of over £650 million.

This exciting role will head up new teams in this division. Interested?

This role will be responsible for delivering high quality facilities management across the Council’s asset base (including Civic Buildings, new Council developments and the Property Portfolio), and will commission, procure and manage all FM contracts worth up to £500k.

He/she will have a proven track record of providing an efficient FM service to a mixed portfolio of properties, be flexible and collaborative with a strong focus on delivering results to meet the expectations of internal and external stakeholders. Holding a relevant professional qualification in building management, engineering or construction, he/she will have strong organisational and performance management skills, extensive knowledge of contract management and a good understanding of health and safety and sustainability issues.
