SEND Case Officer
This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
£31,273 per annum
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated member of staff to work within the Education, Lifelong Learning and Culture Service. The service has just undergone a rapid transformation and we are looking for proactive individuals to join us in moving forward with continuous improvements and working towards robust and positive outcomes for our children.
On a day to day basis you will be working closely with families of Children with Special Needs and Disabilities to ensure bespoke, holistic delivery plans are in place to best assist the child and their family. Your reflective nature and passionate approach will see you driving forward improvements whilst ensuring your effective organisation and communication skills ensure you deliver high quality work.
To be shortlisted to interview for this position your application will clearly evidence:
- Good knowledge of educational settings and a willingness to develop this further
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to write coherent reports
- Experience of working with vulnerable/young children
