Woking Borough Council is recruiting its first Integrated Health Manager within the Community Services function in the Health and Wellbeing team.

Do you know what an ICP or CCG is?  Do you enjoy partnership working? Do you want to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of the residents of Woking?  If so, Woking needs you.

Applications are welcomed from experienced managers who have skills and expertise working within the local authority, health or social care setting, delivering strategies, developing partnership working, and championing innovative projects at senior level.  You must have the confidence to lead on the Health and Wellbeing Strategy for Woking.

The Integrated Health Manager will work closely with colleagues within the Borough, NW Surrey CCG and the County to deliver joined-up services that meet the needs of local residents, considering the wider determinants of health and the local Woking demographic.

The Council offers in return a generous flexi time scheme with the ability to take two flexi days a month, membership of the local government pension scheme, discounted health and leisure membership, plus many more excellent benefits.

Woking Borough Council takes a robust approach to thoroughly checking anyone who has applied to work with vulnerable groups including children.

As this job involves contact with vulnerable groups, successful applicants will be required to obtain a Disclosure Certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Assistance will be given by the Council and further details can be found in the Job Application Guide.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Julie Meme, Health and Wellbeing Manager on Julie.Meme@woking.gov.uk

Interview date: 24 February 2021

Please note that recruitment selection assessments and interviews will take place virtually via Zoom.
