Our Cobham Link programme provides support to those with mild to moderate learning disabilities and Autism, who want to be as independent as possible. The group is involved with a variety of activities such as allotment gardening, choir, drama and money skills.
As you would imagine being part of the support network of Cobham Link, requires strong communication and Organisational skills, as well as dedication, enthusiasm and energy.
What is special about this role, is that you will be able to help develop and implement a programme to meet the physical, emotional and personal needs or those in our group with a low to moderate learning disability and Autism. What you do will make a real difference to people’s lives!
You will be creative, committed and enthusiastic. You will have,
- Proven experience of working with people with a learning disability
- Knowledge of community care and the Cobham Link Service
- The ability to produce reports and maintain social care records.
- To be creative, to look at innovative personalised activity
- A good standard of education
As this is a Casual post you would be flexible in your working hours. You could be working between up to 7 hours a day when required.
