We are looking for an honest, reliable and hardworking individual to successfully deliver a pro-active caretaking service to Runnymede Council tenants.

You will be based at the Garfield Road estate office working alongside a team of Estate Wardens.  Your role will be to undertake cleaning of communal areas in our flatted blocks ensuring the estate is clean, tidy and safe.  You will need to have a basic awareness of health and safety regulations, be able to undertake manual handling and work at low level heights. From time to time you may need to cover mobile duties at other estates Boroughwide to cover for team absence.

Working across the borough you will be the first point of contact for Council tenants and will need to respond to estate enquiries and escalate issues as necessary to our Housing and Neighbourhood Services Team, Housing Maintenance Team and Customer Services Team.  Good communication skills, an ability to work independently and be pro-active is therefore essential to this post.

You should possess a current driving license.

You will be required to participate in a rota which will involve working 9hrs 45mins contracted overtime every third week (including weekends and public holidays). During your active weeks on the rota you will also be required to be on out of hours stand-by and respond to emergency call-outs on the Garfield Road estate.
