About the role
The Access to Education Service provides individual and small group teaching to pupils who are out of school. We provide education for pupils aged 5-16, many of whom have medical, complex SEN needs and/or challenging behaviour. The teaching may take place in the students' home or in a variety of settings within North West Surrey. We are currently recruiting a Programme Manager to support the education of the pupils.
We are looking for a Programme Manager to monitor provision and manage a team of people, who :
- Is able to manage a team and work collaboratively with colleagues
- Is able to work flexibly both on their own and as part of a team
- Can engage and build strong effective relationships with all partners and the wider community
- Is confident using Office software and data management systems
- Is able to communicate effectively both in writing and orally
- Has knowledge of school systems
- Is able to maintain a professional and approachable manner when dealing with adults and pupils
If you have experience of working with vulnerable children and young people and have IT skills (preferably with knowledge of data management) we would welcome your application.
Successful candidates will be expected to travel extensively around the NW Surrey area, including Runnymede, Woking and Surrey Heath. You must therefore have a full driving licence and the use of a vehicle. Our NW office is based in Woking.
