Our Parks and Open Spaces team are expanding our range of in-house services at our Housing Sites in the district.
We require grounds maintenance staff to carry out a number of roles including tractor driving, grass and hedge maintenance, flower bed and floral displays. Successful applicants will need to have experience in grass cutting (including ride on mowers), gardening, hedge & shrub maintenance, sweeping/blowing, litter clearance, and other grounds maintenance duties.
You should be flexible and able to work as part of a small team. You will be required to work seasonal hours averaging 37 hours per week (Summer 40hrs and Winter 30.25hrs). A current manual driving license is essential.
To be successful for a Chargehand position, it is essential that you are able to supervise and motivate a small team of grounds maintenance staff to work to their full potential.
