Are you an experienced administrator seeking a new challenge? We currently have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our Law & Governance support team on a part time basis.
The post holder will be responsible for providing full administrative support to the business centre including formatting committee agendas and minutes for various council meetings as required and uploading business centre material to the web.
You should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word and Power Point. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential along with the ability to prioritise and organise your workload in order to meet deadlines. You should be a team player with a willingness to work flexibly to meet the service demands. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential along with the ability to be diplomatic and discreet. Experience of working within Local Government would be advantageous.
The hours of work are preferably Monday to Friday, a flexible and positive attitude to work is essential in this busy environment as there will be the requirement to provide cover for other support officers in their absence.
