The Housing and Neighbourhood Services Team have just completed a transformation and we are looking for new people to join our team.

We are a stock retained authority and the postholder will be responsible for proactively managing approximately 700 properties, which includes general needs stock, Independent Retirement Living stock, temporary accommodation and the management of leaseholders. This will involve the postholder undertaking arrears recovery, addressing tenancy issues, completing new tenant visits, undertaking inspections of council stock and communal housing land as well as taking forward estate improvements. The postholder will need to have excellent customer service skills and be able to manage a complex and varied caseload.

We are seeking a motivated, resilient and flexible person to join our team. It would be preferable if you have a CIH qualification or equivalent but this is not essential. Experience of working with tenants and dealing with a variety of tenancy related issues is a must.
