This is an 8 month secondment / fixed term contract.

About the role
The Recruitment Team support hiring managers across Surrey County Council process internal and external hires for a diverse variety of roles ranging from Apprentice to Chief Executive. We are the largest employer in Surrey and have a team of approximately 18 people whose aim is to help support hiring managers recruit the right people for the right job efficiently and safely.
As well as direct recruitment for the council we also oversee and support hiring managers bringing in temporary staff via our external supplier, Adecco, and interim recruitment suppliers. Our Temp Recruitment Lead oversees and manages the contract with Adecco and relationship with interim recruitment suppliers and this role will support by coordinating and ensuring effective and efficient supply of temp resource.
Providing both systems and advisory support to hiring managers, you will become an expert in the relevant processes and polices, supporting hiring managers and external suppliers as required. You will also be responsible for ensuring relevant data and feedback is collected to help drive and deliver continuous improvement that results in better processes and outcomes.
No day will be the same as recruitment is a fluid, ever changing environment and we are looking for someone who has experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally. You will have a natural flair for customer service and enjoy delivering a process that works for our customers whilst continually seeking ways to improve the way we work. Your organisational and prioritising skills will also be brilliant as you will be overseeing a number of recruitment processes at any one time.
