Job Title: Parking Programme Manager
Grade J: £41,898 - £46,608 per annum
Cnontract Type: This role is offered on a fixed-term contract for 3 years, and is full-time (part-time working arrangements will be considered)

This role is dedicated to delivering the LB Sutton approved Parking Strategy which is being rolled out across the borough on a phase-by-phase basis. The initial stage of work has just commenced in Sutton town centre and work on the whole strategy is expected to occupy a dedicated team for the next 3 years.
The Parking Programme Manager role is key to the successful delivery of the Strategy, you will need to have relevant experience of implementing programmes of parking management measures in a similar suburban context. As well as expert technical knowledge and an ability to coordinate complex work programmes first class communication and political management skills will also be essential in this role.
The Parking Programme Manager will be supported by a small team of Engineers who will work on all aspects of the design and development of new parking schemes.
For all roles your work with us will help ensure our highways and transport infrastructure is safe, fit for purpose, sustainable, cost effective and well connected. So, you'll need to have good communication skills with the ability to put your ideas across clearly to colleagues and customers - both in person and in writing, and you'll need to demonstrate the ability to manage and prioritise your workload effectively in order to work on a number of projects simultaneously from inception to completion.
