We currently have a vacancy for an apprentice to train and work at Woking Borough Council within the Legal Services Department.

As an apprentice at Woking you can expect:

  • Gain a recognised qualification (CILEx Level 3 Certificate and Diploma in Law & Practice)

This opportunity would be perfect for a school or college leaver, this is not suitable for anyone with an existing law qualification looking for a training contract.

In return for this opportunity we are looking for:

  • A reliable presentable and motivated person
  • Knowledge of the local area
  • GCSE A-C in Maths and English as well as ‘A’ Levels A* to C

The duration of this apprenticeship will be 2 years during which time you will gain experience in a range of legal functions whilst studying for a recognised legal qualification.

The successful candidate will be supporting the Head of Democratic and Legal Services to provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective legal service to the Council as well as supporting lawyers in handling cases and providing support across the Council’s legal functions.
