Salary Details: £18,330 to £28,668 per annum (Grade C to F). Progression through the grades is subject to meeting the set criteria.
Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week.
An excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Adviser have arisen to join the HR Shared Service at Kingston and Sutton Councils. This is a generalist role, focusing on a variety of HR activities with an emphasis on onboarding, payroll, recruitment and 1st line employee relations, providing a high calibre of HR Advisory service to our external customers and in particular to schools across Kingston, Richmond and Sutton.
Working in the HR advisory team, you will be engaging with the business managers and headteachers across our external client base, and one of your first priorities will be to establish relationships with these key stakeholders and discuss their HR requirements.
This is a fast-paced role and you will need to be dynamic, confident, motivated and hard-working, with the ability to work effectively in a team and build excellent working relationships with colleagues and customers. You will be able to adapt to new systems and processes with ease, have excellent attention to detail, an ability to work to tight deadlines and to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate who will make a difference in the HR Adviser team, and provide excellent generalist HR advice to managers, whilst being customer focused. You will have excellent working knowledge of employment law, UKBA right to work, along with previous HR generalist and recruitment experience.
