Grade: SH03

Surrey Heath Borough Council are looking to recruit drivers to support and secure continuation of the Community Transport service for providing transport for trips, outings and other activities within the Borough. There may also be requirement for covering Meals at Home Service during annual leave etc.

You will need to support and assist individuals that are unable to access mainstream public transport for any one of a number of possible reasons including ill health, mobility problems and physical disabilities.

Role Requirements

You will need to have a full driving licence with the D1 driving licence category to enable you to drive our fully accessible minibuses. Experience of driving minibuses or other vehicles of a similar size is desirable.

Full training in providing support and assistance to customers will be provided but experience in working with or supporting older people or people with disabilities would be advantageous.
