£11,117.60 per annum for 36 hours per week Monday to Friday based out of County Hall, Penrhyn Road, Kingston Upon Thames KT1 2DN.

This is a fixed term contrcat for 1 year while you complete your apprenticeship.

Flexible working supported where possible, laptop and mobile supplied. 24 days annual leave, local government salary-related pension offered as well as the option to join the car lease scheme.

We are looking for two organised, confident and forward-thinking people to join the Leadership Team as Business Administration Apprentices. These roles will provide first class administrative, secretarial and information support to the Chief Executive, Leader, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Members of the Council. You will work internally with Members and senior officers and externally with Members of Parliament, districts and boroughs and other public, private, voluntary and independent agencies and representative organisations.

The roles are challenging and varied; you will frequently be required to work to tight deadlines and remain calm and professional at all times. The post holder will manage correspondence; acknowledging receipt, chasing progress and liaising with services to provide briefings and draft replies. You will deal with calls and queries to the Leadership Team and Cabinet in an effective and efficient manner.

You will be working towards a Business Administration qualification.

Entry Requirements: You will need two GCSEs grade A to C
