We are seeking a positive, flexible, proactive Business Accountant to work in our innovative, forward thinking Accountancy Team, within the Finance Team at Reigate & Banstead Borough Council.


You will be able to take the initiative, get things done, and be an excellent team player. Your innovative approach will be valued and you will be able grasp opportunities quickly. You will be able to work through difficult situations, showing resilience to achieve positive outcomes.


The successful candidate will work with the Finance Manager and the Accountancy Team in the preparation of financial statements (with a capital bias), treasury management, and development projects.


You will have strong commercial vision, as well as proven technical skills in capital accounting, using controls to ensure accuracy of financial statements.


You will be a CCAB qualified or part qualified accountant, with an accountancy background with significant relevant experience
